Sunday night was a big night for TV ratings, with a number of shows all fighting over the TV ratings. The night had a number of season premieres on, such as “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Mad Men”, but it was the 2009 Emmy Awards that drew the big numbers.
Freep.com reports that 13.3 million viewers tuned in to CBS to watch Neil Patrick Harris host the event, that’s 1 million more than last year. The Hollywood Reporter adds that it is the most watched Emmys since 2006. So now, the shows organizers have to look at why the show did so well, and try to recreate that again for 2010.

Pushing Daisies star, Kristin Chenoweth, who picked up an award for best supporting actress in a comedy had to be treated by paramedics for a migraine. I have had a number of migraines in my time, and have never had to call the emergency services out for one. Chenoweth’s publicist said that the star was doing fine.
