Rampage Jackson Retires: Dana White labels him ‘a baby’

Following on from our article yesterday, which informed you about Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson’s decision to retire from UFC, we now have heard Dana White’s reaction to the news.

As reported from TheSun, Dana White is obviously not happy with Jackson’s decision to retire, particularly as he was already booked for the UFC 107 card in a match against Rashad Evans, throwing the event schedule into chaos.

Rampage Jackson Retires: Dana White labels him ‘a baby’

After mocking him for his decision to go into acting, in reference to the role of BA Baracus in the new A-Team movie, Dana White has labelled Jackson ‘childish and a baby’.

Some of his comments state: “Rampage is a grown man. He is acting like a baby right now but he is a grown man.”

    Rampage has contractual obligation with UFC and Dana will probably end up with the money Rampage makes off the movie. Not a smart move by Rampage.

    i think everyone should let rampage do what he wants. he is retiring because dana kept putting him in fights he did not want. when the put him in the fight with chuck rampage told dana he wasnot ready to fight for the belt he wanted to have a few fights before he was put into the belt. but dana just said your fighting and like 5 minutes after that they put him in the fight with dan another fight he got jiped on because when he won he did not win the pride belt but if he lost he would lose his belt dana and the ufc has ripped rampage off alot

    Dana White is a punk ass and his ego has gotten out of control! Rampage has been very loyal to the UFC. The least they could have done is showed Rampage a litte gratitude and respect. It just proves what many fighters have said about Dana, he only cares about money and his ego. Why would he bad mouth Rampage over somthing so petty. One day someone is going to slap the crap out of Dana. A fighter should always pursue other opportunities outside of the ring because you can\’t fight forever. Good luck Rampage, you were one of the best fighters the UFC had!

    Rashad is punk and it’s a disgrace that anyone would think that Rampage would be scared of him! He should come back to the UFC just to kick his ass! Good Luck to Jackson you can only fight so long you need more options out there!

    Look I think Dana voices what is on his mind and there is nothing wrong with that. The fact is the Ultimate Fighter 10 had two things which have led to huge ratings. 1. Kimbo Slice, 2. Evans vs Jackson. Now that Jackson has retired, the UFC has lost a promotion for an event and a show. Jackson shouldn’t have agreed to fight Evans if he wasn’t going to fight. PERIOD. Dana White does care about his fighters who put themselves on the line for the company. He does not and will not respect fighters who back out of a sport.
