Michael Jackson This Is It Tickets: O2 dispatch update

While most of you are searching around for places to pick up Michael Jackson’s This Is It movie tickets, we have an update for many of you who have been waiting patiently for souvenir tickets for his planned O2 gigs.

At the start of this month, we wrote about the fact that no-one had received any notification from the various official ticket vendors, about the delivery of special lenticular tickets that customers had the option to receive instead of a refund.

Well speaking personally, I can now confirm that Ticketmaster (UK based) have now emailed me with the following message:

Dear Ticketmaster customer,

This is a courtesy email from Ticketmaster regarding your tickets for the now cancelled Michael Jackson event at The O2.

Our records show that you selected to receive your ticket(s) in lieu of a refund.

We are in the process of dispatching your tickets.

Naturally I’m glad that my tickets are finally on the way after months of waiting. Have any of you received the same message from Ticketmaster or any other ticket vendors? Let us know if you are still waiting for notification for the tickets.
