Watch A Nightmare on Elm Street trailer

The trailer for the new film A Nightmare on Elm Street has been released, and it shows off Jackie Earle Haley in all his pre and post burn glory as the new Freddy Krueger. There are a few small differences and additions.
The makeup is different, as for the rest of it though, what I have seen, there isn’t much imagination to the dreamscapes. This is a movie about nightmares, and there’s leeway to do anything at all. Some of the previous films in the Elm Street serious have been silly, scary but silly.
As a fan of the films I would like them to take Freddie deeper into people’s dreams, because lets face it we all dream. Samuel Bayer is making his debut as the music video director.

freddys face looks nothing like at all the original and looks less scary.
