The 2009 AAA 400 NASCAR event took place on Sunday, at the Dover International Speedway in Dover, Delaware. And it was within this race, that Joey Logano managed to crash, barrel-rolling his car down the embankment 7 times in the process.
According to reports from stockcarspin.com, it was half way through the 32nd lap, with 43 cars on the track. Then on the backstretch, a bottleneck occurred in the middle of the pack. That is when Joey Logano’s car got knocked sideways, into the turn 3 grass.

But the good thing was, Logano got out of his car and he was alright. What we could ask now, is what actually caused the crash? It was said that the reason why Logano came out of it unscathed, was because of NASCAR’s Car of Tomorrow.
Although, there could be another question on people’s minds, could this crash have been caused by the car itself? The car could well have flipped because it was top-heavy. Did any of you watch the event and see the accident happen?
