According to tribune242.com, Detective Inspector Sean Saunders took to the stand in the John Travolta trial on Monday and told the court, how Michael McDermott, who is an attorney for the Travoltas, allowed a meeting with Pleasant Bridgewater, to be recorded.
Apparently, Michael allowed police to set up recording devices in his hotel room, so the meeting he had with former PLP Senator, Pleasant Bridgewater could be recorded. Pleasant Bridgewater and Tarino Lightbourne, are the two involved in the extortion case.

Both Bridgewater and Lightbourne attempted to extort $25 million from actor John Travolta, following the death of his 16-year old son Jett in January. It was also revealed in court, that McDermott had given permission, for police to record his telephone calls.
