The best of British were out in force at the Mobo Awards 2009, which were held in Glasgow this evening. The two big winners of the night were X-Factors JLS and N-Dubz, both groups picked up two awards each. This shows that you do not have to win X-Factor to be appreciated for your music.
According to STV Entertainment, JLS won Best Newcomer and Best Song; N-Dubz won Best Album and Best UK Act. The evening was also a celebration to one of the best entertainers of all time, Michael Jackson. Sister, La Toya Jackson gave an introduction with a tribute coming from Shaheen Jafargholi.

Another tribute came from Britain’s got Talent winners Diversity; they got the audience going with a dance medley to a number of “The King of Pop’s” greatest hits. Brother Jermaine also gave an emotional tribute, singing Michael’s favorite song “Smile.”
