Michael Vick’s New Endorsement Deal with Nike

Nike has always been my favorite brand of tennis shoes, but I will never buy this brand or any product of Nike again since Nike made the very poor decision of signing an anti-social personality, Michael Vick. Torturing and killing innocent, defenseless dogs, then never showing any remorse over it, is not the type of person who should be endorsing any product. If Nike is stupid enough to sign someone like this, expect your sales to plummet. There are a LOT of dog lovers out there, and I hope every one of them bans Nike products.

TO Jennifer Sauerwein FIRST AF ALL YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO SUPPORTS NIKE……ALONG WITH MILLIONS OF OTHER PEOPLE…MIKE IS AN HUMAN BEING AND DESERVES AN SECOND CHANCE….WHAT YOU WANT IS FOR HIM TO STAY DOWN AND NEVER REBUILD HIMSELF, IT SOUNDS LIKE LOTS OF JEALOUSY…IF IT WERE YOU OR A FAMILY MEMBER I PROMISE YOU YOUR STORY WOULD NOT BE THE SAME,EVERYONE ONE DERSERVES AN SECOND CHANCE AND EVEYONE IS NOT PERFECT….I PROMISE YOU HAVE DONE ALOT OF THINGS IN YOU PAST AND WAS GIVEN AN SECOND CHANE….GROW UP AND PLACE GOD FIRST TO GET OVER SUCH PETTY ISSUES THERE ARE MURDERS KILLING HUMAN BEINGS….CHILDREN BEING SEXUALLY ABUSED AND MISTREATED…HEALTHCARE IS SCREWED UP…WITH DAT BEING SAID THERE ARE MORE ISSUES TO WORRY ABOUT INSTEAD OF CRYING ABOUT MIKE AND DOGS.GET A LIFE AND MAKE YOUR WRONGS RIGHT! WHAT IF ONE OF THEM DOGS BITE THE HELL OUT OF YOU AND PUT YOU AND YOUR CHILDS LIFE IN DANGER….THEN WHAT IS IT STILL POOR DOG? I LOVES DOGS MYSELF I AM A BIG DOG LOVER….I OWN A COUPLE, AND TREAT THEM LIKE MY OWN CHILDREN…BUT I WOULD NEVER BELITTLE A MAN FOR HIS MISTAKES…AND SHOULD NOT EITHER….NIKE WILL NOT LOOSE ANY MONEY OR SLEEP JUST BECAUSE YOU AND OTHERS FEEL THIS WAY…CAUSE THERE ARE JUST AS MANY PEOPLE THAT WILL STILL BUY….

Even if Jennifer did something bad in her life, I’m sure she never murdered anything that’s innocent, Or put them through grave torcher, How would you like to have to kill a person to survive, and if you didn’t you were killed.

Would you forgive that person? I think not, Just because it’s a dog instead of a human makes no difference.

What Michael Vick did is discusting, If you say he should gets another chance, than you are ignorant and misinformed.

I’m not sure where to start with this rant, other than I’m very disapointed. My husband and I do our part to support greener living, as well as all living things. The news over the last two days that Nike and Michale Vick have a “deal” are discusting. Upon further investigation it turns out that Nike has agreed to outfit Vick for “free” in Nike products… okay so we don’t support Nike any longer. The problem we have is supporting Greenpeace who also has a relationship with Nike.

Michael Vick is not remorseful, he has lied, killed, brutalized and then served (if you want to call it that) time. I would be fine if he was rehabilitated but until that is proven the young people who look up to him and see what has happened have learned nothing. What are we teaching the next generation, that greed and wrong doing are okay if you simply say sorry (after lying). I am outraged.

If we can’t help the defenseless animals and our next generation why bother going to war for the whales!

Only in American can a white Olympic Gold Medalist swimmer get his endorsements taken away from him because he smoked some pot while a black football player who has been convicted of brutally killing dogs can not only get his career back but start receiving all his endorsements back from companies like Nike. This goes to show if you are a black athlete in American and can catch a ball and run with it, you can get away with anything. All it takes is a simple “I’m sorry”. If this sounds racist, it’s because it is very racist. Blacks are getting away with anything and White America is getting sick of it. Who knows – Michael Vick may be the next candidate for a Nobel Peace Prize if he wins a superbowl.

Thank you to those who support my opinions. I’ll never understand why, when a specific issue is being written about, people have to start bringing up all kinds of other atrocities in the world. I KNOW there are a million terrible things in this world, but we’re talking about the issue of a so-called human being TORTURING and KILLING innocent, loving, defenseless dogs who just want to please. If a person can do this to an animal, it’s been proven they’re capable of doing it to a person. “Pit Bulls” are one of the sweetest, most loyal dogs and are family dogs. Ones who bite another person are that way because they have been TRAINED that way. Please go to Best Friends Animal Society and see how 23 of Mike Vick’s dogs were taken there and rehabilitated–even with everything they went with Vick, these dogs are being rehabilitated and will go to GOOD homes and be wonderful family pets.

Yeah i know, maybe he should have killed a few million white people for what they did in slavery, since you don't know how to forgive black people. Yeah cracker you should shut your fucking mouth, if he was white and related to you i'm sure you wouldn't come down so hard on him. You care more about dogs than you do black people, what happend to 'make poverty history'??? You feel that every black man has to pay for O.J. even though he is innocent. What about prince charles, should he go to prison for shooting foxes??? Get the fuck out of here!

For goodness sake – for those of you that have not read the details of the torture inflicted on innocent animals at the hand of Vick – I implore you to do so. I suggest that you are close to a bathroom as you will certainly, like me, be sickened to the point of nausea. If the explicit descriptions of the torture (shooting, beating, drowning, burning, stabbing, electrocuting, suffocating, castrating) do not send you into a rage, then I can understand why you would support such a monster. I am sure that since he can throw a football makes all the difference in how people view him. Speaks volumes about the human race.
