It was just over a month ago when Top Chef Season 6 started with Padma Lakshmi as the host. Today we hear some news about a ‘Medical Miracle’ that involves the Top Chef presenter.
Padma Lakshmi has become pregnant, which is amazing considering the 39-year-old has struggled with endometriosis. This condition can cause infertility, and her physician has called the pregnancy “nothing short of a medical miracle”.
As a former model, Padma Lakshmi was married to author Salman Rushdie for three years, and this marriage ended in 2007 with divorce. The baby’s father has not been made public.
A spokesperson for Padma Lakshmi has asked the press to respect her privacy at this time. Do you see this pregnancy as a medical miracle?

Congratulations to her. Yes, it could be considered a medical miracle. I too had endometriosis and poly-cystic ovarian disease and a Dr. told me it would be a miracle from God if I ever got pregnant. My gift from God will be 23 in December.
