This Week: Janet Jackson in black, Madonna aka Madge

This week has certainly been a funny old week for celebrity news. It has included the recent reports regarding Michael Jackson’s sister Janet. And for those of you who don’t know what I mean, it is that she plans to just wear black until the 1-year anniversary, of Michael’s death.

Apparently, Janet wants to express her grief by only wearing black clothes, until the first anniversary of Michael’s death, on June 25th 2010. Janet, who is apparently going to work with Madonna on something for her brother, says that it is also a mark of respect for Michael.

And speaking about Madonna, the Queen of Pop made an appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman” this week. And it appears, that when Letterman referred to her as her nickname “Madge,” Madonna got a bit shirty, and said that she doesn’t like that name at all.

According to reports from itn.co.uk, Madonna said that the name “Madge,” was the reason why she moved away from the UK, as she hates it. The 51-year old singer says that the jokey nickname, made up by Guy Ritchie, makes her feel like a “boring, middle-aged housewife.”
