Saturday Night Live and Lady Gaga’s S-bomb

It looks like celebrities using profane words, is becoming a habit on “Saturday Night Live.” First we had Jenny Slate and the F-bomb last week, and this week it was singer Lady Gaga, who let slip on stage by saying the S-bomb.

And according to tmz.com, it is the second week in a row that SNL have let one of the seven words not meant to be said on television, slide right past the censors. Lady Gaga’s profane 4-letter word wasn’t bleeped out on the East Coast.

But apparently, NBC and SNL don’t have to pay anything to the FCC, because it reportedly happened during a designated “safe harbor” time period. If indecent or profane speech is broadcast between 10pm and 6am, it’s not actionable.
