Anna Nicole Smith: Alleged murder plot

When Anna Nicole Smith was alive, she was surrounded by controversy, from marrying her 89-year old husband, to the court battle with his son, for her husband’s fortune. And now it seems there was some more speculation surrounding the former Playboy Playmate.

According to reports from guardian.co.uk, Anna Nicole Smith was once investigated, for an alleged plot to kill her tycoon husband’s son. But according to recently released files on the matter, the FBI never proceeded with the case and Smith was never prosecuted.

The FBI records on Smith, say that the agency apparently investigated Smith in 2000 and 2001, for a murder-for-hire plot that targeted J. Howard Marshall’s son, E. Pierce Marshall, who was the at the center of the long legal battle, to stop Smith getting his father’s wealth.
