Dame Elizabeth Taylor to hospital for surgery

Dame Elizabeth Taylor took to her Twitter account yesterday, to tell all her fans, that she is heading to hospital for a heart procedure. According to washingtonpost.com, the 77-year old actress intends to inform her followers how the procedure went.

Taylor told her 157,000 Twitter followers, that she is going to undergo a “very new” procedure, that is to improve the heart function, and involves “repairing a leaky valve, using a clip device,” rather than her having open heart surgery.

It is uncertain where she is having treatment, or even when at that matter. And a representative for Elizabeth didn’t immediately return a phone call or an email, asking for comments on the matter. We’ll just have to wait for her to post on Twitter.
