Singer and songwriter Kandi Burruss, who is also the newest cast member of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” has recently released a statement, regarding the death of her fiancé Ashley A.J. Jewell, who died from a head injury last Friday.
According to buddytv.com, Kandi says that she is devastated by the loss of A.J., who was involved in a fight outside The Body Tap Club at the time of the injury. The “Housewives” star went on to say that A.J.’s death comes just after her Uncle Ralph’s.

The singer then went on to say that with both her Uncle and A.J. gone, that her heart is heavy with grief. Kandi said that she had only spoken to her fiancé, two hours before she got the call, to say that he had been taken into hospital.
Burruss said that A.J., who she describes as a good man with a great spirit, was taken away from her too soon, and says that there is so many things that she wanted to say and should have said to him, but says that it is now too late.
