There was quite a tense and drawn out game played yesterday, between the Minnesota Twins and the Detroit Tigers. Both teams were playing hard and were seen to tie on a couple of occasions, but it finally finished, with the Minnesota Twins winning 6-5.
The Twins beat the Detroit Tigers 6-5, in 12 innings and a walk off RBI from Alexi Casilla. It was the Tigers that jumped to an early start in the bottom of the third inning, with a 3-0 lead; thanks to an RBI single by Magglio Ordonez and a 2-run homer from Miguel Cabrera.

Then with two outs in the bottom of the sixth, Jason Kubel belted a solo home run, pulling the Twins within one run. Orlando Cabrera then belted a 2 run shot, which gave the Twins a 4-3 lead. But that didn’t last long, as Ordonez hit a home run to tie 4-4.
Brandon Inge than hit an RBI double, giving the Tigers a 5-4 lead. But then the Twins managed to tie the game yet again. The Twins then got a huge strikeout by Bobby Keppel and a lead off single by Carlos Gomez, to take them to their 6-5 victory.
