Tyler Perry talks about abuse

When actor and playwright Tyler Perry watched the new movie “Precious,” which is about a 16-year old girl who is physically abused by her parents, he experienced a whole lot of emotions. Perry revealed recently, that it brought back memories of his own child abuse.

According to avclub.com, Tyler posted a letter on his website that told about the painful memories he occurred while watching the new movie. He went on to tell his fans that when he was younger, he always thought that he was going to die before he grew up.

Perry’s childhood memories are full of horrific beatings and are very painful for him, but that certainly doesn’t show in any of his films that feature the character Madea. Tyler Perry plays the character of Madea, who is known for the way she beats children.

    i haven’t seen the movie “Precious”. However i can relate, i encountered a abusive childhood as well and the thought still haunt me even till this day. I thought that once the person who has abused me had pst away the memories would as well. I thank God for being God. Keep your head up Mr. Perry. You went through what you went through to help other who otherwise wanted to end their live. So see and to know that you are a Warrior gives people are the nations Hope
