Tiger Woods Backs Golf Olympic Inclusion

World number one golfer Tiger Words has given his backing to the Olympic inclusion for Golf for the 2016 games in Rio de Janeiro. The star will not be in Copenhagen to back the bid, but instead insisted on recording a video to publicly promote the sport.

Golf is under much scrutiny, much like Tennis to be one of the most sought after prizes and goes against sports such as Karate and Softball. The article can be read here.

Rugby Sevens also had to go against the 114 IOC voting members to see what sports are to be held in the 2016 games, but sailed through the IOC voting process with the golf coming second, seeing off Karate and Softball.
