According to reports from ananova.com, Andrew Lloyd Webber has recently unveiled the details, of the sequel to “Phantom of the Opera,” which was one of his greatest worldwide hits. The sequel is called “Love Never Dies,” and will open in London’s West End next March.
And apparently, Lloyd Webber thought about writing a follow up to “Phantom of the Opera,” about 16 years ago, but couldn’t settle on a storyline, until now. Phantom has had a huge success, entertaining 100 million people in 25 countries, since it opened 23- years ago.

How can Lloyd Webber follow that then you may just ask. Well, the composer is insisting, that the new production, which picks up the story a decade on, will stand alone. He also said that “Love Never Dies,” is a completely different tale to “Phantom of the Opera.”
