Leonard Nimoy one of the stars in Star Trek, is almost certainly done with the movies. He said as much earlier this week to THR. But that doesn’t mean his career in films is over. JJ Abrams recently told Collider that he’s considering giving Nimoy, a part in the upcoming fourth Mission: Impossible.
Star Trek wasn’t Nimoy’s only foray into iconic television franchises. Leonard was actually part of the original Mission: Impossible television series, and starred on the show for three years from 1969 to 1971, as a master of disguise named “The Amazing Paris”.
Other famous faces on the original Mission: Impossible cast included Martin Landau, and Sam Elliot. Abrams expressed definite interest in bringing one of them back from the show for Mission Impossible 4, Abrams tried to bring Martin Landau into Mission 3 just for fun, but he wasn’t interested in doing it.
