Liam Gallagher: Oasis Are Officially Over

When Noel Gallagher first announced, that he was leaving Oasis back in August, many fans hoped that the band would get back together (Again). But two months have passed now, since the Gallagher brothers had a backstage clash.

And according to rollingstone.com, it is now Liam Gallagher, who is claiming that Oasis is officially over. In a recent interview with the Times U.K., Liam said “Oasis are no longer.” He went on to say that it’s a shame, but says that’s life.

Noel left Oasis, just before the band’s scheduled France concert, after he and Liam apparently got into a fight backstage. Shortly after, Noel released a statement, saying that he’d left the band, and said that he couldn’t work with Liam.

Liam has now said that he is glad that the band ended on its own terms, and that no one ended it for them. He also said that he is going to concentrate on his own music now, and claims that he will doing music, until the day he dies.
