Have you been keeping up to date with NASA’s Moon Bombing program? It has just been confirmed that Nasa scientists have “bombed” the Moon using two spacecrafts.
As reported from SkyNews, the effects of the collision were not immediately seen due to the violent impact of the bombing. The projectiles used were aimed towards the lunar south pole with the process shown live on NASA’s website.

As a result of the impact, it is now thought that water ice could lie at the bottom of dark craters at the Moon’s poles, where temperatures are thought to be lower than minus 170C.
Full details can be found over at SkyNews. We have also a link to the NASA TV video stream, where you’ll be able to watch the latest updates.
