Robbie Williams talks about painkiller addiction

We all know the troubles that Robbie Williams has gone through in recent years; the pop star has since revealed that he had taken a huge amount of prescription drugs. His painkiller addiction almost killed him, and he admitted that he did not care.

The former Take That band member told The Sun newspaper that he came within 24 hours of dying, much the same way as Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson. Williams said to The Sun “At the time you don’t give a s*** if you pop your clogs. I must have been very, very close.”

Back in 2007, Robbie had checked into a rehab clinic, which he said had saved his life. He said that he would never forget that part of his life, which nearly ended his life. We recently reported that Robbie Williams was to perform on Saturday’s X Factor.
