Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on Blu-ray: Released

Disney recently released Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs onto Blu-ray Platinum Edition, this popular version was the first animated full color sound motion picture, originally released in 1937/38.

You can now watch this movie in HD on the 3-disc Blu-ray set, which has a good collection of special features, and they have managed to fit a DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround track.

This is a classic fairy tale story of a young maiden rescued from her deep sleep by a handsome prince charming, after being put in a deep sleep by her evil stepmother.

Walt Disney, Merrill de Maris, Richard Creedon, William Cottrell, and Dorothy Ann Blank directed this film. Some of the cast includes Adriana Caselotti as Snow White, Lucille La Verne as the Queen / Witch, and Harry Stockwell as the Prince. To see the cast visit IMDB.

  1. What a pity that Disney have chosen to leave The Witch At The Cauldron “Boil Cauldron Boil!” sequence out of the otherwise excellent Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs Blu Ray!

    It was only 30 seconds long yet it showed how dark the Witch’s character was , and yet it’s been left out of this definitive Blu Ray – whilst we have to put up with the excreable Tiffany Thornton video it just doesn’t add up!
