X-Factor 2009: Stacey Solomon and Jade Goody similarities

According to X Factor host Dermot O’Leary, Stacey Solomon is set to become the nation’s sweetheart. Dermot thinks that the public will warm to Stacey just like they did with Jade Goody.
Stacey is a single mum from Essex and shares the same accent as Jade, and grew up ten miles from Bermondsey, which is were Jade came from. Most of us know that Jade died of cancer in March 2009 aged 27. Jade won over the public when she appeared on Big Brother in 2002.
Dermot has said that Stacey is the dark horse this year and that he thinks she could go really far. To read more on this story check out The Sun.

He took the words right out of my mouth, i am a big fan of jade, more so in her early years and then after during her sudden death and after she passed away. She brings tears to my eyes still.
However, seeing stacey, reminds me of many people, as my husband says “frank spencer” or “betty”, but definitely Jade territory, its that case of they are fantastically talented, and had a pretty hard life and deserve the works.
