Susan Boyle’s Album: Will you buy at release?

We do not have that long until the release of Susan Boyle’s debut album “I Dreamed a Dream,” due on November 24. Boyle was the runner up of the Britain’s Got Talent show, but she has gone on to huge success already and has done what most British artist can only dream of, breaking America.

Susan Boyle’s music is an acquired taste, much like Marmite; you either love it or hate it. You will be forgiven for thinking that the Scottish singer would have had all showtunes, but we recently revealed that she has a mix of music on her debut album.

The Insider is reporting that they already have the playlist for her album, which we have for you below.

Let us know what you think of the track list, and if you will be purchasing the new album. I think I will wait for the reviews to start coming in first. It will certainly interesting to see how she tackles some of those songs.

    This will be the number 1 Xmas selling album for sure!

    The reason is, that millions of people “Get what Susan is about” & millions of people simply “don’t”.

    I predict that that the millions of people that do “Get It” will buy multiple copy’s of the album for gifts to friends & family, in the hope that they will “Get It” as well!!!! (which I am sure they will!) So Susan’s NEXT album will be an even bigger & faster selling album than the first!

    I have preordered several copies of Susan’s CD, but know I won’t be able to wait for them to arrive in the mail!!! I will definitely be buying one on Nov. 24th!! That way I can play it for my family on Thanksgiving!!! There will definitely be some family members that will want to buy the CD as well!!!

    I’m fed up to here with under-dressed, freaky-looking people who will do anything to attract attention except sing in a voice that is beautiful to hear. They shatter our ear drums with words too crude or violent. Then along comes Susan and we hear songs as they should be sung and with believable feelings. I keep playing her songs over and over, yet I can’t get enough of them.
    I’ll have to stock up on her recordings as I know I will wear them out from playing them over and over. And as for Susan’s appearance – she’s gorgeous in those new duds and new hair style.

    Can hardly wait, I’ll be the first in line. I disagree with the article in that Susan’s voice is hardly an acquired taste. The songs she chooses to sing may not suit everyone but it is hard to deny the most googled human on earth has a voice that touched the soul of the world.

    Yes, I have pre ordered her CD before I know the list of songs. I will now buy more knowing what is on the CD. I love her song choices. I think she is amazing and I will buy anything she puts out. I love Susan Boyle for who she is, what she stands for, and her music.

    I’ve already ordered 5 of them before Amazon put a limit on the number you could order because my family and friends just love her.
    She has a voice that’s just naturally beautiful and doesn’t need all the electronic enhancement that’s used so much today.

    I would buy an album from Susan if she sang the phonebook! Everyone on my Xmas list is getting this album. What a fine singer she is!!

    Although I’ve pre-ordered a copy for myself, I plan to buy at least a couple more on Nov 24th at Wal-Mart for gifts! I don’t happen to believe that Susan’s voice is such an ‘acquired taste’. Perhaps it is not for everyone, but I’ve noticed that folks from all age groups appear to be really liking a lot of what Susan is singing! Perhaps in some circles it’s considered ‘uncool’ to actually ‘like’ Susan’s voice and/or the music she chooses to sing; what a shame, that such people have already decided to not even give this CD a chance! Thank goodness I do believe that those feeling this way are in the minority. There IS a ‘silent majority’ out there who don’t say a lot and don’t join fan clubs but they’ll purchase music they enjoy hearing. The only studio cut I’ve heard yet from Susan’s ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ is ‘Wild Horses’ and THAT is enough to make me run, not walk, to my local Wal-Mart on Nov 24th.
