It was the “X Factor” results show last night and everyone who watched it, would have noticed that Louis Walsh was missing from the judge’s table. But that was understandable, after the tragic news of Stephen Gately’s death yesterday.
According to metro.co.uk, Louis, who is the manager of Boyzone, cancelled his Sunday night appearance on the “X Factor,” as he was very shocked and exceptionally upset, over the death of the 33-year old Boyzone singer.
But, a spokeswoman for 57-year old Walsh said that he wouldn’t be traveling to Majorca with the rest of the band. Simon Cowell did pay tribute to Stephen Gately on yesterday’s show though, saying that they all sent their condolences.
Since the sad news broke yesterday, tributes have been pouring in on Twitter for the singer from fans, to celebrities such as Elton John and Brian McFadden. Even Dannii Minogue was said to have taken to Twitter.
