Carnie Wilson talks to George Takei on Newlywed Game

It appears that “The Newlywed Game” is proving to its viewers how things have changed over the years in tonight’s episode, by featuring its first ever gay couple. And according to abcnews.go.com, the couple is actor George Takei, and his partner Brad Altman.

The show originally aired back in 1967, with Bob Eubanks as its host. Ever since then, it has been on and off our screens several times. The show is now hosted by singer Carnie Wilson, who many of you may know from the pop group Wilson Phillips.

George Takei, who is best known for his role as Mr. Sulu on the “Star Trek” TV series and more recently in “Heroes,” and his husband Brad Altman, will appear on a celebrity episode, where they will have to answer questions on each other.
