Carrie Underwood to Host Her Own TV Special

There appears to be a huge treat in store for all you Carrie Underwood fans out there, as the singer and former “American Idol” winner, has apparently been given her very own two-hour variety television special.

According to reports from people.com, Fox have given the 26-year old singer a chance to host her own one-time show, which is to be called “Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Holiday Special,” on December 7th.

Not only will Carrie sing holiday classics and songs from her new album “Play On,” which will be released on November 3rd, but she will also be joined by Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton and fellow “Idol” contestant David Cook.
