Ralph Lauren Model Fired: Filippa Hamilton explains reason

Filippa Hamilton, a former top model for Ralph Lauren has revealed that she was fired from her job for being ‘too fat’, even though the French beauty has a stunning 5-foot-10, 120-pound figure.
As reported from RadarOnline, Hamilton was recently pictured in a Japanese magazine with an altered figure, which she was understandably not too happy about.
She admitted she was shocked to see that Ralph Lauren had given this move the go ahead, even though they have since stated that the release of this picture was a ‘mistake’ and take full responsibility over what has happened.
Hamilton, who worked with Ralph Lauren since 2002, thinks that the company owe American women a ‘big apology’.

When the standard’s fake, it’s not surprising that you don’t measure up – and that eating disorders make the most of the insecurity. After suffering from chronic anorexia bulmia for 17 years, I am staggered by the irresponsibility and ignorance demonstrated by these ‘influential figures’. With airbrushing and photo-shopping lying to a whole generation, it’s no wonder that eating disorders are on the up – and that more people are being struck by this devastating illness. This makes me sick to my stomach as I am in a relationship with a man who is not happy about the 15 pounds I’ve gained in 2 years. I’ve made up my mind after reading this that this relationship is now over. BTW, I’m 5′ 1″, 125 pounds and almost 50 years old. Most people think I look great for my age. People have become so shallow when it comes to looks. I’m ready to go to a deserted island just to get away from the fake phony asses.
