Well did anyone see this coming? Shane McMahon, Executive Vice President of WWE Global Media has announced that he is leaving the business to pursue other business opportunities.
As reported from TheSun, his father and CEO Vince McMahon has stated that while he is ‘saddened’ by his son’s exit from the company, understands his decision and has wished him luck in his future career.

Shane, now 39, stated that the decision was the ‘hardest one’ he has had to make in his life, but also revealed that it was ‘time to move on’.
Shane now follows his mum Linda, former WWE CEO, who left the business to pursue a career in politics. Shane will leave his position in the WWE on 1st January 2010.
