In last night’s episode of “The Vampire Diaries,” Elena finally learned the truth about her boyfriend, Stefan. She had been thinking for a while, that something wasn’t quite right and finally confronted him in last night’s episode.
Both Elena and the viewers then got a flashback to 1864, and a full detailed report of the Catherine business. It turns out, that both Stefan and Damon fell in love with Catherine, the woman that just happens to look like Elena.
The story then showed, how Catherine bit Stefan and turned him into a vampire, and then did exactly the same to his brother Damon. And when Damon tried to explain the human-to-vampire transition to Vicki, she just ran away.
