Jim Nantz Divorce: Lorrie spent $1 million in shopping

Jim Nantz the CBS, sportscaster is divorcing his wife, Lorrie Nantz. The couple has been married for 26 years. Nantz The 50-year-old anchor man’s earnings are potential above $7 million yearly.
Nantz said the reason for their marriage break down was because of Lorrie’s over spending, and her lack of support for his broadcasting career. Nantz said he now has a new girlfriend after meeting her in May 2008. It is claimed that Lorrie spent $1 million over a 9 year period on shopping
Jim Nantz announced that he had his affair only after accepting that his marriage had already broken down irretrievably. It seems that it will only get worse for Jim, as Mrs Nantz wants $1.5 million per year in child support for their 15-year-old daughter, and to stay in the family home.

It seems adulterers will stop at nothing to make excuses for their poor behavior. Just like an alcoholic or narcissist, they can never take responsibility for their own actions. In his wife’s defense, To spend $100,000 a year in a household that makes $7 million per year is in line with earnings. The spouse of any high profile person is expected to make appearances and keep up a certain level of class…otherwise the couple will lose credibility and be considered hayseeds, potentially damaging the career of the high profile person.
If Nantz had a problem with his wife’s spending, why didn’t he say something 9 years ago? It sounds like this great public communicator has trouble communicating in his own home.
I doubt Mr. Nantz is leaving his wife for his first girlfriend. Mrs. Nantz has probably dealt with alot that is unreported.
I hope the new, 29 year old, gold-digging girlfriend milks him dry…after he has paid his child support, of course.
Not to worry, once the daughter is out of High School, the new wife will probably file for divorce and child support for her little fledglings. Enjoy your short-lived bachelorhood, Fancy Nantzy.
