Kristina Anapau Stars In First Howl Movie

Kristina Anapau will star in the Eric Stolz werewolf movie First Howl. The film is currently back on track and moving forward towards production. The trouble with this idea for the movie is it has been done so many times before.

The movie stars Stephen Toblowsky, Eric Stolz, C. Thomas Howell, Stephen Toblowsky, and Chris Showerman as John Howl, who is a detective by day and a werewolf by night. Kirstina gave an update on what the movie is about. She said that “it puts a modern spin on the classic horror film. The film focuses on the humanity of John Howland his battle of his humanity winning out over his animal instinct, a beautiful metaphor for human behavior in our modern times.”

This is an idea that’s been done to death with vampires. Not to long ago it showed up on television with the rather mediocre series Moonlight, and before that it was actually done really well with Canada’s Forever Knight.

As for Kristina she plays a fiery young woman named Sammi, who takes matters into her own hands when betrayed by a lover. Sammi injects a lot of comedy into her revenge tactics. This is not the first time Anapau has appeared in a werewolf movie. Back in 2005 she showed up in Wes Craven’s Cursed. To read more on this story go to cinemablend.com.
