Recent reports from The Associated Press have revealed, that WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko, is all set to defend his title in Bern, on December 12th. And apparently, his opponent is going to be American Kevin Johnson.
38-year old Klitschko, who is 38-2, with 7 knockouts defeated Cris Arreola in a fight in Los Angeles last month. He won the bout, after Arreola’s corner apparently refused to let him back out for the eleventh round.
The Ukranian fighter says that he can’t wait to jump into the ring again. The fight against 30-year old Johnson is Klitschko’s third title defense of this year. Johnson appears to be feeling pretty confident about the upcoming fight.
In an interview, Johnson said that there will finally be an American heavyweight champion, after he wins the fight. He then went on to say, that he is very sorry that he has to spoil Klitschko’s Christmas. Who do you think will win?
