Dancing with the Stars 2009: Recap of Week 5

We are now into week 5, of “Dancing with the Stars” and last night, it was the performance show. And as we mentioned in a previous post, Derek Hough is out sick this week so Maksim Chmerkovskiy took over as Joanna Krupa’s dance partner.
So let’s get straight on, to how the remaining couples did. It looks like Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff chose the Argentine Tango for last night’s performance. And according to buddytv.com, they managed to get a score of 24 points.
Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson also danced the Argentine Tango and obviously impressed the judges, as they scored a 29. Then we have Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo with the Paso Doble, which scored them 22 points out of a possible 30.
Another couple that danced the Paso Doble, was Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova. The judges like it but they only score 21. Next we have Kelly Osbourne and Louis van Amstel, who scored 24 points with their Paso Doble performance.
Next up there is Mya and Dmitry Chaplin, who danced the Argentine Tango. They scored 27 points. Then we have Mark Dacascos and Lacey Schwimmer, with their performance of the Paso Doble. The judges gave them an overall score of 26.
And then we had Louie Vito and Chelsie Hightower, Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas and Joanna Krupa and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who all danced the Argentine Tango. Louie scored 22, Melissa scored 23 and Joanna scored 24 points.
