Steve McNair: Girlfriend Asked For $2,000 Just Before Murder-Suicide

When the news broke out in July, that American footballer Steve McNair had been found dead in what appeared to be a murder-suicide, it shocked the nation. And now it appears that the woman involved, asked him for $2,000 only hours before she shot him.

According to reports from sportsillustrated.cnn.com, police say that text messages that were from Sahel Kazemi and sent to Steve McNair, have now revealed that she asked Steve for $2,000, to apparently pay for her cell phone bills, only two hours before.

Police have released details of the text messages, saying that one of the text messages said that Steve had got someone to transfer the money. The messages have also revealed that he had planned to meet her at the condo, telling Sahel to leave the door open.
