This is not the first time that the World Series has ended in November. Please refer to 2001 World Series (NYY & Arizona) when the baseball schedule was delayed due to 9/11 events. Derek Jeter home run in extra innings at stroke of midnight caused NY Papers to dub Jeter “Mr. November”

It is totally ridiculous that the world series will be going into November. It is all about money. They could be be playing in freezing cold or wet weather which could make it dangerous to play.
