Frank McCourt Fires Wife As Dodgers’ CEO

It was only last week, that Jamie McCourt, who was the CEO of the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team, announced that she and her husband Frank McCourt, who is the owner of the team, had decided to separate and file for divorce.

And it looks like it is not going to be a pleasant divorce either. According to reports from sportsillustrated.cnn.com, Frank has now fired his wife as the team’s CEO, leaving Jamie disappointed and saddened by his decision.

This is just the first shot, in what appears to be a bitter battle between Jamie and Frank, over the Dodgers team. Jamie’s lawyer Dennis Wasser, said recently that as co-owner, Jamie will be addressing this and other issues in court.
