John Travolta Extortion Case Mistrial: Will Retrial Ever Happen?

The John Travolta extortion case has just dragged on for quite a while now, with the “Grease” actor and his wife hoping to just put an end to this awful time. But it now looks as though it’s not going to be over for a long time, if ever.

As we recently reported, a Bahamian judge has recently declared a mistrial in the case, which obviously left John very upset. John was one of the people that testified in the case, regarding the death of his 16-year old son Jett.

John told the court, how Tarino Lightbourne had threatened him and demanded $25 million from him, in return for not releasing documents to the media, which would indicate him as the one being responsible for his son’s death.

And according to reports from digitalspy.co.uk, the nine-member jury informed Senior Supreme Court Judge Anita Allen, that they had found it difficult reaching a decision on a verdict. So Allen has now ordered a retrial on the case.

But it still remains unclear when the case will go to jury again, that’s if it ever does. It just means that John and his wife won’t be able to put it all to rest. What do you think of the trial? Do you think that a retrial will ever happen?
