It looks like the American Music Awards have gone “American Idol” crazy this year, with the likes of Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, Kelly Clarkson and of course Adam Lambert, all due to perform at this year’s event, which airs on November 22nd on ABC.
According to reports from orlandosentinel.com, Adam Lambert was apparently the first “Idol” contestant to be announced, with the others announced after. Adam reportedly helped Snoop Dog and Paula Abdul announce the nominations recently as well.

Other performers that have been announced to perform include Jennifer Lopez, the Black Eyed Peas, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys. Taylor Swift is the singer that has the most nominations with 6, followed by the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, with 5 nominations.
