Bob Griese has had to apologize for his comments that he made on Juan Pablo Montoya, which the ESPN football analyst made on Saturday about the NASCAR driver. Chris Spielman had asked “Where’s Montoya?” Griese replied “Out eating a taco.” Many believe that that was a dumb thing to say, especially while on air.
Griese apologized to Montoya after the comment; LA Times does wonder which top executive from ESPN made him apologize to one of the best NASCAR drivers at this time. ESPN released a statement on the incident, which you can read in full over at LA Times.

In that statement ESPN said that the remark was “inappropriate” which is why he had to make an apology to Juan Pablo Montoya. Bob also admits that the comment that he made was uncalled for, wonder what Montoya had to say on the subject.
