British composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, whose works include “The Phantom of the Opera,” “The Sound of Music,” “Cats” and “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” has just been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
According to reports from the Press Association, Lloyd Webber’s spokespeople have recently issued a statement, which confirms he has just been diagnosed with prostate cancer. But the condition is said to be in its very early stages.

The statement then goes on to say, that 61-year old Lloyd Webber is now undergoing treatment for the cancer, which mainly affects men over the age of 50 and that he hopes to be fully back to work, before the end of this year.
