Fans must have been left concerned on Saturday night, when singer Morrissey collapsed on stage during a gig in Swindon, England and was subsequently taken to hospital. According to people.com, the incident happened just as 50-year old Morrissey was completing his first song.
Jillian Moody, who witnessed the former frontman of The Smiths collapse, said that he kept putting his hand to his mouth, as if he felt sick. When he fell to the stage, two members of his current band helped Morrissey get offstage and then he was taken to a local hospital.

The ambulance crews were initially told that Morrissey was unconscious. A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said in a statement, that when they arrived they found him awake, but not feeling well at all. He was then taken to the Great Western Hospital and checked over.
