UFC 104 Post Fight Press Conference: Video with Dana White

If you watched all the action of UFC 104, then you will want to see the post fight press conference with Dana White live from the Staples Center. You will be able to get attendee and other info via the video, as well as hear the UFC president speaking about all the fights and some of the outcomes.

The press conference also sees some of the winners of the night’s fights; they are asked a series of questions, which they do their best to answer. We all know how lucky Machida was to win, that fight should have gone to Rua, which we discussed in an earlier post.

Thankfully no fighters were taken to the hospital; most injuries were to fighters pride rather than their bodies. Pat Berry walks away a happy man, winning an extra $120,000. While watching the video, Dana agreed that he thought that Shogun won the fight, do you UFC fans agree with that.

    I am a big ufc fan, but tonight….. tonight was a terrible night for a fan like me. I have no more respect for Machida… NONE! By winning this fight, he won 3 hearts (the ones of the 3 judges) and a Belt. Mauricio won all the hearts and respect of the ones watching ufc 104. I am from Montreal and I never miss any ufc event, but this time was different, I had some friends at home watching the ufc for the first time, after Machida won they told me “Hey, is this thing fake or what? Is it a serious organization?” I didn’t know what to answer! I am so disappointed about the decision and the fact that Mauricio didn’t win! I feel betrayed by the sport! Now I am not sure about paying for the next ufc… why would I? There is 2 reasons why i would pay for the next ufc. 1- Dana White insist publicly, to the medias and more that Mauricio won (so at least i don’t feel betrayed by the ufc) and 2- he needs to make a rematch of Machida vs Shogun AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! I repeat, AS, SOON, AS, POSSIBLE! On this, i tell you Long live Fedor!

    If Dana White doesn’t think Machida should have won, maybe he shouldn’t have paid the judges to give him the victory. I gave Machida one round, and believed Shogun was too aggressive in the final round, because he should have already had a decision in his pocket. I feel sorry for Machida having to carry that heavy belt out, on such damaged legs.

    i am a machida fan, and have been for many years now. i think it was a great fight, but shogun may have done just enough to win, but it was not a decisive win, and thats how you have to win a decision when you are fighting for a title. thats just the way it is. machida doesnt have to feel bad for getting the win. he just needs to come out next time and continue doing what he has been doing to people for years, destroy them.
