X Factor 2009 Live Results: Miss Frank Out Of Competition

It was the “X Factor” live results show tonight and I am probably speaking for a lot of people, when I say that it ended with a very shocking result. After last night’s performances, I never imagined that it would be Danyl Johnson and Miss Frank in the bottom two.

But that is exactly what happened and it was not only a shock to us at home, but also to the judges and their mentors. Simon Cowell could not believe it, when host Dermot O’Leary announced that his act Danyl Johnson was one of the acts with the least public votes.

And it was just the same for Louis Walsh, as his group Miss Frank were also the ones that got the least amount of public votes. Both acts then had to perform again, to impress the judges enough to hopefully get put through to perform again in next week’s show.

When it came down to the judge’s decision, Simon chose Miss Frank to go home, Louis chose Danyl Johnson to go home, Danni chose Miss Frank and Cheryl chose Danyl Johnson, therefore leaving it down to deadlock. And sadly for them, it was Miss Frank going home.

    Is this the “eurovisionization” of x-factor? I mean really, the twins never had any talent and never will, and the young blonde guy has a thin and annoying voice and it will take years for him to get any good (although unlike the twins he has talent).

    Just bloc votes huh? Irish vote for Irish. Welsh for Welsh and Northerners for northerners. What happens to the talent???

    after watching the results i wont be watching the xfactor again as its a complete farce,its meant to be a singing competition not a comedy show and john and edward just cant sing,people should relise that this is the xfactor and not britains got tallent not like they have any,the show should be scraped.

    DISGUST !!!! I really do not believe this was the real result. For Good ness Sake, the British Public have surely got more sense than to keep those TRULY AWFUL twins in the contest! they cam’t sinf, can’t dance and have as much charisma as melting butter !!!! The contest, for whatever reason, IS FIXED. A result like this, and some earlier ones for that matter, ARE and nothing will convince me to the contrary. This makes a mockery of entertainment but judging from the reaction of the judges, is nothing to do with them (I mean Simon really who I WOULD have suspected but now don’t). What is the REAL hidden agenda because deny it all they like, someone within ITV must have an awful lot to gain by being SO disgustingly DISHONEST and more that I could not possibly say in public.. Shame on them, whoever they are – thay should be brought to account – hung, drawn and quartered at the very least – but what I faind pathetic is they think we members of the public are fooled. THIS ONE IS NOT just like a LOT of other people. Shoot ‘em someone, please! Lose the real losers like John & Edwardwho belong at Butlins – I doubt they’d be wanted even there. keep it honest. PLEASE. Stop conning us and relelse the number of votes each act receives. That would be honesty! Someone is obviously in a high enough position to fix things and hope this person, or persons, rot in the most unpleasant place possible.

    after last weeks love in with cheryl coles fantastic mimming whilst dressed like a would be lap dancer,her perfomance was not a patch on some of the other contestants but she recieved a standing ovation from simon and co

    Of course the wrong 2 went up for eviction – Although Danyl Johnson is not my favourite he was certainly the best of the live perforamnces in big band week – Pleased he got through but very disappointed with Cheryl because as a judge she should of made a decision asnd not just leave it to the public like she did – If she genuinely believed that Miss Frank were better than Danyl at least have the guts to say so. Sorry Cheryl you went down a little in my estimation. If nothing else it may make the public realise that if they don’t want to lose there favourite then they must vote

    The twins look ridiculous, sound like 2 cats being strangled, and dance like Thunderbird puppets ! I think they must be being kept in because they generate the most coverage in the media. I actually thought Candy Rain sounded better as a group than Miss Frank who still sound like 3 solo singers trying to outdo each other.

    What surprised me about the comments so far is that people are offended that the programme is fixed, it is a commercial money making enterprise, all tactics will be used to make as much money as possible, talent is a bonus not an necessity in this exercise.

    I am absolutely 100% disgusted at the results of last night’s show!! How those twins have remained in this competition is beyond comprehension. It’s not the irish public keeping those talentless teenagers in this show as the irish public are unable to vote this year. Something has gone very wrong here! Miss Frank are undoubtedly the best female group that have been on the x factor since the show began and have so much potential as a group. I have been a big supporter of them from the beginning. Danyl Johnson too, is extremely talented so it is a shock how these acts were in the bottom two. If such acts with great potential are being voted off the show whilst other less talented acts remain, I doubt I will continue to watch x factor!! There are contestants who deserve to go far in this competition. The voters should be basing their decisions on talent, pure, raw talent and not on looks or circus show entertainment!

    I thought Daniel did a good job and I was rather disappointed by Jamies rendition of Angel of Harlem. I suspect that the negative press has influenced the public but then again, this is showbizz…

    It has GOT TO BE FIXED!.. how can Danyl Johnson (who is easily the best act the show has ever seen) go from being in the top 3 in the previous weeks (as stated by the host) to being in the bottom two?? Miss frank may have been in the lowest two but i think that they just wanted to suprise people by putting Danyl there too… The judges will probably have been told to put it through to deadlock therefor keeping danyl in the competition but suprising the public.. maybe in order to get him more votes?
    he is easily the best and the most popular

    My own opinion of Danyl being in the bottom two, because britain thought that Danyl was gauranteed to get millions of votes already and everyone thought he was safe, so every one thought they would vote for someone who they were unsure about.
    Anyway that’s just my opinion.

    I have stopped watching the X-factor after yestradys’s results!!!!It is a fix!!!!Lyod and the twins should be in the bottom two, noone else!!!!!Singing competition has turned into a charade and a joke!

    Personally i think danyl is a bit dull but clearly a good singer – Miss Frank ar far more unique and quirky and I could see them being successful in the charts. People vote for such crap acts like lloyd and john and edward and it makes me so depressed – danyl at least deserved to stay longer than those two, but Miss Frank should have been in the final.
