The 2009 College Football season is well underway now and it looks like the Florida Gators have come out on top, in the week 2 BCS standings. According to reports from associatedcontent.com, the BCS week 2 standings show Florida with a commanding lead.
And it looks like they have been ranked ahead of Alabama and Texas as well. It is the BCS standings, which help select the two teams that will play for the national championship. This means that it becomes even more important, to be ranked in a high place.

As last week, the top three places in the BCS standings are exactly the same, with Florida, Alabama and Texas taking top spots. Iowa is now in fourth place in the standings, with USC making a jump up to the fifth spot and proving that they are not going anywhere.
