Probibly the same for Indie and Pop at some point or another. Personally I enjoy the show, but wouldn't dream of paying the extortionate price to vote every week. Obviously if it was purely on talent quite a few of the acts still in would have gone. John and Edward have taken a lot of the flak that would have passed on to Joe and the Welsh kid (apologies to him that I can't remember his name, but I'm having a bookend moment) their voices are sugary at best but certainly not fully developed and when you put them alongside the 3 older male singers they get blown away. I'm guessing the vast majority of the public vote is under 18 and female, thus the skewered vote.
