Gary Glitter hanged in fictitious Channel 4 drama

For all you people including me that would like to see Gary Glitter hang for his crimes, don’t get exited it is just a program. Channel 4 has commissioned a fictitious account of Gary Glitter’s life in which he will be seen hanged for his crimes.
Rob Coldstream, will write and direct the drama, which is set in a Britain where the death penalty has been reintroduced and convicted pedophile Glitter is the first to be tried. They have even contacted the so called man, to inform him about the film. The Execution Of Gary Glitter, is scheduled to air Monday, November 9th.
Channel 4’s head of documentaries Hamish Mykura said high profile crimes against children often prompt calls for the death penalty; this drama confronts the public with what many say they want.

Yeh Glitter’s crimes are disgusting I agree and he deserves richly the punishment he has received. However your OBVIOUS GLEE at the thought of a human being (yeh you can say until you are BLUE in the face he ISN’T but HE IS) being murdered (because THAT is what capital punishment is……STATE SANCTIONED MURDER) SHOWS NOTHING EXCEPT YOUR OWN INHUMANITY….WHICH IS EVERY BIT AS DISGUSTING AND REVOLTING AS GLITTERS CRIMES. In the scriptures (if you are a believer that is) it says EVEN if you THINK about killing someone THAT IS AS BAD AS COMMITING THE CRIME….Yeh if we DO bring back capital punishment and YOU are prepared to pull the lever (which from what you have said Im sure you are) its YOU who will have to answer to God and YOU who will spend eternity in the fires of hell unless YOU can come up with a good reason why YOU placed YOURSELF in the place of God……wanna risk that? I wouldn’t. Only The Almighty can take life…..not man

where do u want me to start ,yeah he and others like him should be hanged , pity it aint real. am not going to say sorry for how i feel as am sure others like me feel the same.isnt about time that hanging shoud be brought back,surely crimes like he has done should be dealt with a death sentence because thats how the children he abused have to deal with this for the rest of there life
ok……and WHY might that be? Can you expand on that? Is it because though I agree GG is a sick twisted person but to oppose society sinking to the level of state sanctioned MURDER (because THAT is ALL the death penalty is) HOW does THAT make me sicker than GG?

We have EVERY RIGHT to bang the likes of Glitter up for a very long time YES………..we DO NOT however have the “RIGHT” to take the life of ANY other human being UNLESS they are an IMMEDIATE threat to our own or the lives of those in close proximity to us and even then it should ONLY be as a LAST resort…..THAT is the ONLY time it perfectly acceptable.
I spent 8 years in the army and when you see death close up you realise how precious life is and that WE as a society have NO RIGHT to take life….if YOU believe otherwise I suggest it is YOU who is a pretty sick individual and finally I will suggest that if Glitter was YOUR brother father or a close friend or loved one that YOU may take a very different view…..its fine when its SOMEONE else’s loved one eh? To oppose the death penalty EVEN for someone as unpleasent as Glitter DOES NOT mean you believe in letting twisted individuals like him get away with it….far from it…..I just dont want society to go down such a sick road as state sanctioned MURDER….I WONT ask you if you would be prepared to hang someone because Im sure you will say YES…..only showing up YOUR OWN inhumanity….its you thats twisted mate not me.
As a child i was abused,it is with me every single day of my life,affects every angle of my life even after 40yrs and scum like them carry on being looked after at a cost to us all.I agree you dont kill some-one for the sack of it but abused people deserve justise,locking up thesse sick people is just not enough im sorry to say.They show no remorse for whay they have done why should we?Only a abused person would understand the anger/fear of what they have done to us.HANG THEM
