Boondock Saints 2: Theater release locations near you?

Are you all set for the release of the sequel to Boondock Saints 2? As many of you will be aware, the film is set to only have a ‘limited release’ tomorrow, which means that many of you might not get to see the film in your area.

Having said that, you might be one of the lucky ones who live in an area where Boondock Saints 2 will receive a theater release as normal.

Some of the states we have heard might ‘not’ be showing Boondock Saints 2 in theaters is Ohio, Arizona, Florida and Illinois.

    Found the official movie website and on the bottom, it has a theater listings link. Sadly, its not even playing in Washington state! I would have to travel to California to see it. Guess I have to wait till dvd. Man that sucks, I think it would have done a lot better with a nation-wide release.

    WTF! its only being shown in either the most northern part of the east coast or, in california. Who the f made this decision? whoever did it needs to be shot, or fired. Either way. I have been waiting for the release of this movie for a VERY long time. Why, what was the reason? What were they thinking? I think I am going to cry.

    WTF!!!!!!! this is a bunch of crap! why is it that only the east or west coast get everything and everyone else gets the shaft! We all want to see this movie SONY, so release it all ready.

    Is there anything we can do to get more theaters to play this film? I know that many of the critics believe that, like the first movie, the second one will not make money for the studio untill its release to video. I firmly believe this to be untrue. We didn’t know what we had the first time around, but now we know what a great story this is. I don’t consider myself to follow this movie in the ‘cult’ since, however I thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to seeing the sequel. I hope the word spreads.

    I am seeing this correct? absolutely NO SHOWINGS in the state of IL? no Chicago? I would be willing to drive two hours to see this but there is not a place within two hours. this is dumb

    You would think they’d have done a nationwide release. It has a TON of people upset that they’re not. I was reading some forums and it seems Sony was afraid it would flop like Paranormal Activity since it’s been a while since the first Boondock Saints.

    My Daughter and I live in Arizona and have been waiting impatiently to see this movie… WTF why isn’t being released here?? Not a very happy camper. We got ready to see it and now….We cant. ARGH I hate you movie release unreleaser, whoever you are.

    I am severely disappointed. I have waited 10 years for this sequel only to discover it’s only releasing in 2 very small regions in the US?! I mean honestly…what gives. I’m sure somewhere, there’s some reason behind this, but it can’t be a good enough reason to deprive a loyal fanbase eagerly awaiting this movie. I think I speak for alot of people, WE WANT THE SAINTS!

    I woke up this morning to check for the earliest showing of this movie so me and my lady could go see it. I couldn’t find a local listing. I thought I may have got the release date wrong but no, only released in Mass.,Pa.,R.I., Ct.,N.Y., N.J., and Ca. Looks like a total of maybe 50 or so theaters. I guess watching a bootleg is my only option. I would really love to show my support for this movie by seeing it in theaters. Sony will lose my theater money if I find it online before they decide to give me a legitimate way to see it here in Las Vegas.

    I live in Tempe, AZ and this really pisses me off that I don’t get access to this in theaters. Everyone I have talked to about it has been anxiously awaiting it’s release (or at least most of the people), so there is clearly no lack of interest. Tempe Marketplace hosted the world premiere of Wolverine and we can’t even get a showing? Ridiculous.

    If you don’t live in the Northeast or California, you can’t see it. They did the same thing with the first Saints movie, only released it in LA, Boston, and NYC, and they wonder why it only made 200 grand, but made 30 million for the DVD! I mean, I live in Chicago, and I’d have to drive to Pittsburgh to see it? You don’t make money doing crap like that. I thought Sony was releasing it. You mean Sony Pics can’t get a national release?     WTF!!!! I live in Florida. It’s not some remote location or anything. I just want to see this movie. I looked it up and the closest it is playing is in Georgia. Seriously it’s in Georgia but not in the bigger states like Florida or Texas. FU sony. If I do not get to see this in theatres soon I will boycott sony forever!!!!!

    Nothing in Kansas City, MO or Overland Park, KS did a 40 mile search for it and nothing very disappointing. 1st movie was great on my top 5 list. I saw the add for this on Movietickets.com. I say dont advertise like they are if its not going to be shown nation wide. I feel they are trying to bank on the DVD release more than theater release. Would of loved to suport the movie rather than try to get a ripped copy.

    Bull**** Motherfu**ers. Seriously wanted to support every bit of this movie. I’ve plugged many a dollar into merch over the years for saints gear. Now this move has made me feel betrayed. The first good copy that hits the net (which I assure you won’t be to long) I plan on buying a hundred blank dvds and making copies for anyone and everyone. Friends, family,… hell I’ll go down to the strip (Vegas) and hand em out. Maybe they’ll realize just how bad this moved has pissed us off when they look at the gross profit and realize it could have been so much more. F U

    FINALLY it arrived in Houston, Tx a few weeks ago and I’m getting to go tonight. It was not originally scheduled to be released here. I’m glad to see that it did.
