Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur: Premier League Preview

One of the biggest games of the season has arrived, as the North London derby kicks off the premier league weekend. The rivalry of the two sides is second to none, and after the 4-4 draw last season, it should be just as exiting for the neutral.

Both sides occupy spots in the top 4 and they both have the same points, however the gunners do have a game in hand. Tottenham are currently enjoying their best ever start to a Premier League campaign. Arsenal welcome them to the Emirates having remained unbeaten against Spurs in their last 19 Premier League games. The last time Tottenham won at Arsenal was on 11 May 1993.

However this could be the season to break that record, as they travel the short distance up the Seven Sister’s road to the Emirates. With an impressive away record, having picked up ten points from a possible 15 and have only been defeated by Chelsea on the road. The Gunners have won 59 of the previous 144 League meetings, and Spurs 45, with the other 40 encounters ending in draws.
